We survived finals! I probably should explain that we do the
block/term system here so that’s why we are having finals while everyone back
in Provo is having midterms. Now that the madness is over, I can see that it’s really smart of them to
frontload the semester with a ton of classes (11 credit hours for a term—that’s
a lot!) because now for the second term we only have two classes, New Testament
and Ancient Near Eastern Studies. So after many hours of studying and
exercising (to keep me sane), I was able to score pretty well on my tests—thankfully
all that hard work paid off! You could definitely feel the mood of the whole
center lighten as we finished our last test.

We had a fun weekend to celebrate before we headed off the Jordan that even included a Halloween party! I was a sister missionary with my dear friend McKenzi Davis. Pretty soon that “costume” will become my outfit for the next 18 months!
